Shipment of desiccated coconut in April at 10,995 MT was valued USD25.677 million.  There 41 country destinations logged during the month, two countries short from last month count.  The US continued to lead with this month uptake at 2,610 MT or 23.7% of the pack, tracked by the Netherlands at 1,717 MT (15.6%), same rankings as last month. The next four countries in the rank together comprised 25.1% of the market: Russia 901 MT, Germany 687 MT, Australia 617 MT, Canada 557 MT.  

On the other hand, 13 other countries with purchases ranging 103-443 MT collectively shared 29.6% namely, Thailand, France, United Kingdom, Brazil, Turkey, Japan, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Israel, Belgium.  Their aggregate volume was 3,244 MT.  Smaller orders below 100 MT (3-96 MT) went to 22 countries and contributed 6.0% to total trade for total volume of 661 MT. Under this group were: New Zealand, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, South Africa, Egypt, Spain, Paraguay, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Chile, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Colombia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Norway, Bahrain, Estonia, Vietnam.

Outbound load of desiccated coconut in March at 13,266 MT was worth USD29.483 million. As has been in the past, desiccated coconut has the most number of export destinations among coconut export products and for this month counted 43 countries. The US maintained its top position in the market and was responsible for 23.6% of total trade at 3,126 MT and was joined by Netherlands at 1,708 MT (12.9%) and China at 1,022 MT (7.7%) to make up the top three markets.  The next six countries together accounted for 31.5% namely, United Kingdom 753 MT, Australia 741 MT, Canada 741 MT, Russia 702 MT, Turkey 700 MT, Germany 638 MT. 

On the other hand, 12 other countries with imports ranging 115-385 MT jointly accounted for 17.8% or 2,357 MT namely, Thailand, Brazil, Japan, Malaysia, Belgium, France, South Korea, Indonesia, Taiwan, Israel, Colombia, Chile.  Smaller loads below 100 MT (25-93 MT range) were destined to 22 countries with total volume of 878 MT and 6.6% participation.  This group included Argentina, Spain, Italy, South Africa, United Arab Emirates, New Zealand, Syria, Costa Rica, Sweden, Ireland, Ecuador, Egypt, Lithuania, Switzerland, Czech Republic, Guatemala, Norway, Hong Kong, Estonia, Saudi Arabia, Poland, Jordan.

Shipment of desiccated coconut in February at 11,976 MT turned in USD26.333 million.  There were 38 outlets during the month, half of which took in volume above 100 MT and collectively accounted for 92.9% of total delivery and the remaining half, below 100 MT contributed 7.1%.  

The US remained market leader with purchases at 3,760 MT comprising 31.4% of total trade, followed by Netherlands at 1,446 MT (12.1%).  The next six buyers together made up 29.7%: United Kingdom 696 MT, Thailand 667 MT, Canada 572 MT, Germany 561 MT, China 554 MT, Turkey 504 MT.  On the other hand, 11 other countries took in volume ranging 110-481 MT and jointly represented 19.7%.  This included Australia, Russia, France, Argentina, Brazil, South Korea, New Zealand, Belgium, Japan, Malaysia, Sweden.  

Additionally, countries with purchases below 100 MT (2-99 MT range)  together shared 7.1% or 857 MT to total sales.  This comprised of Egypt, Israel, Ecuador, United Arab Emirates, Chile, Taiwan, Spain, South Africa, Indonesia, Colombia, Ireland, Uruguay, Italy, Panama, Poland, Croatia, Lithuania, Switzerland, Saudi Arabia.
