UCAP BOWLING TOURNAMENT RESULTS - 3RD MEETING

Changes occurred again in team ranking after the third meeting as follows: (1) United Coconut Planters Bank (UCPB), (2) CIIF Oil Mills Group, (3) Chemrez Technologies, (4) Franklin Baker Company of the Philippines (5) Sakamoto Orient Chemicals, (6) Peter Paul Philippines, (7) Mixed Nuts (Pacific Royal Basic Foods, Mitsubishi Corp. Living Essentials), and (8) Pilipinas Kao.
Two more male bowlers joined Club 200 (score of 200 and up for men’s division), Angel Arias of Franklin Baker and Redentor Galura of Chemrez (both scored 200). The Club is now composed of three members including the first “200-Clubber” for this year’s tournament, Dong Clarin of UCPB (213). For the ladies’ division, Sylves Castronuevo of UCPB is a lone member of Club 175 (lady bowler scoring at least 175) with score of 203. Winners of other special awards for the day were: ladies’ division - Dinah Sacro of UCPB for the first to score split conversion; Sylves Castronuevo for the first to score 3 consecutive strikes; Amy Orate of CIIF Oil Mills for first to score four consecutives spares.  For the men’s division, winners were Angel Arias of Franklin Baker for the first to score four consecutive strikes and Ray Capales of Sakamoto for the first to score split conversion.
The tournament’s final playoff will be on Thursday, June 29, still at the Coronado Lanes, 4th Floor, Starmall Complex, Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila.
