Virgin Coconut Oil Processing Facility to Rise in Pagbilao in Quezon Province

Groundbreaking of the virgin coconut oil (VCO) processing facility was held last month in Barangay Binahaan in Pagbilao town. Gov. Danilo Suarez expressed his support to this project which will provide great potential for products from the province. He informed he had initial discussions with SM to provide a space for products from the province in the mall. 

Provincial agriculturist Roberto Gajo said the project was conceptualized as early as 2014 and its realization now will provide opportunities for the people in Quezon. Apart from Gov. Suarez and Gajo, also present during the occasion were representatives from Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), Department of Agriculture (DA), Philipppine Coconut Authority (PCA), Quezon Federation of Union Cooperatives (QFUC) and other officials of the province.
