Shipment of desiccated coconut in April at 10,995 MT was valued USD25.677 million.  There 41 country destinations logged during the month, two countries short from last month count.  The US continued to lead with this month uptake at 2,610 MT or 23.7% of the pack, tracked by the Netherlands at 1,717 MT (15.6%), same rankings as last month. The next four countries in the rank together comprised 25.1% of the market: Russia 901 MT, Germany 687 MT, Australia 617 MT, Canada 557 MT.  

On the other hand, 13 other countries with purchases ranging 103-443 MT collectively shared 29.6% namely, Thailand, France, United Kingdom, Brazil, Turkey, Japan, China, Malaysia, South Korea, Taiwan, Sweden, Israel, Belgium.  Their aggregate volume was 3,244 MT.  Smaller orders below 100 MT (3-96 MT) went to 22 countries and contributed 6.0% to total trade for total volume of 661 MT. Under this group were: New Zealand, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Argentina, South Africa, Egypt, Spain, Paraguay, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, Chile, Ecuador, Saudi Arabia, Portugal, Colombia, Hong Kong, Ireland, Norway, Bahrain, Estonia, Vietnam.
