Bunge Sells its Oilseed Processing Business in Russia

Bunge has agreed to sell its oilseed processing business in Russia to Karen Vantesyan, the controlling shareholder of Exoil Group, Reuters reported on September 19.  The sale includes the sunflower processing plant in Voronezh where Bunge invested $130 million to construct the plant which started operation in 2008.  The plant has an annual capacity to process 540,000 tons of raw materials which makes its possible to produce more 200 million bottles of sunflower oil, Reuters wrote
