Destinations of Coconut Oil Export in November

Coconut oil export in November consisted of 57,515 MT crude coconut oil, 17,793 MT cochin (refined, bleached) oil, and 8,376 MT RBD (refined, bleached and deodorized or fully refined) oil.  The combined turnover of the coconut oil mix was USD1.895 billion.
Europe remained the leading destination during the month responsible for 41.5% or 34,717 MT of the coconut oil mix, trailed by the US at 29,394 MT (35.1%), Malaysia 10,000 MT (12.0%), China 3,861 MT (4.6%), South Korea 2,514 MT (3.0%), Japan 2,327 MT (2.8%) which comprised the top five. 
Europe was top export market for crude coconut oil cornering 34,430 MT (Netherlands 26,430, Italy 8,000), followed by the US at 13,000 MT, Malaysia at 10,000 MT and Mexico at 85 MT.  On the other hand, cochin oil export went to only two destinations: the US at 15,593 MT and Japan at 2,200 MT.
RBD coconut oil trade was dominated by China and South Korea with the former capturing 3,861 MT and the latter 2,514 MT.  Other destinations were the US at 800 MT, Europe 286 MT (Netherlands 211, Poland 44, Denmark 22, Germany 10), Singapore 235 MT, Taiwan 212 MT, Japan 127 MT, Mexico 95 MT, Indonesia 49 MT, Hong Kong 44 MT, Brazil 33 MT, Ecuador 25 MT, Vietnam 24 MT, South Africa 23 MT, Canada 19 MT, Pakistan 19 MT, New Zealand 9 MT, Israel 3 MT.
