Performance of Philippine Top Non-Traditional Coconut Products Exports in October 2022 (Part 2)

Following will show details about the remaining five leading non-traditional exports (ranked 11th-15th), namely Coco Milk Powder, Coco Peat Dust, Coir Products, Nata de Coco, and Shampoo. These products had export earnings ranging USD219,000-720,000 during the month.
Ranked 11, COCO MILK POWDER turned in USD719,759 from shipment of 134 MT, lower by 33.8% from previous year at 100 MT. Leading the list of seven importers was China at 40 MT (29.7%), followed by Japan at 28 MT (20.7%); Spain 16 MT (12.0%); Italy, Australia, Taiwan at 13 MT apiece (9.5%); South Korea 12 MT (9.2%).
Next was COCO PEAT/DUST with revenue of USD333,163 and volume at 6,563 MT. This month shipment was 36.2% behind last year at 10,389 MT. China was the sole buyer during the month.
COIR PRODUCTS export of 1,569 MT (2,430 MT last year) valued at USD257,9237 took up the 13th position. China was almost an exclusive destination responsible for 97.8% or 1,534 MT. The remainder was nearly evenly split between the US and Japan at 18 MT and 16 MT, respectively.
NATA DE COCO as number 14 generated income of USD237,840 from sale of 210 MT (362 MT). Japan held bulk of the shipment at 89 MT (42.5%), trailed by the US at 62 MT (29.5%). Limited loads went to South Korea at 16 MT (7.6%), Malaysia 15 MT (7.2%), Australia 10 MT (4.9%) and five other countries which held 17 MT (8.2%).
Completing the top 15 non-traditional coconut products export was SHAMPOO with proceeds of USD219,508 from orders of 65 MT (78 MT). Mongolia was top market at 31 MT (46.9%), trailed by Qatar at 12 MT (18.6%), Singapore 8 MT (12.3%), Taiwan 5 MT (8.3%), Japan 5 MT (7.7%) while 4 MT went to seven importing countries (6.2%).
